West Key Consulting Corporation is a multi-disciplined, full service engineering firm, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and was established to provide clients with professional consulting services including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical consulting engineering for a variety of building and construction applications.

WKCC's mission is to provide quality design services that meet the engineering and construction needs of our clients in a professional and cost-effective manner. To this end, WKCC is committed to maintaining a staff of highly qualified engineers and technical designers to meet client expectations as well as deadlines.
Our History
West Key Consulting Corporation was founded in 1997 by Dennis G. Nield, PE and the company quickly became known for its practical design approach and also for its ability to consistently meet schedule demands. The company continued to grow over the years and brought on additional designers and various support staffing as needed. In 2005, Jason M. Rivenbark, PE, LEED joined the firm to serve as a project manager to assist in handling our ever growing workload.
WKCC's strength is in its ability to operate as an integral part of a design team, along with the client, architect, designers, and contractors, to provide a "common sense " design approach to meet the needs of our clients in a professional and cost-effective manner. WKCC also prides itself on its ability to consistently provide superior design drawings for permit approval in some of North Carolina's most demanding jurisdictions. Our staff, coupled with our support network, allows WKCC to provide superior permit drawings at an extremely competitive cost.
West Key Consulting Corporation presently maintains Professional Engineering registrations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Our engineers are all registered with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying which will allow them to easily seek registration in any state that required for a particular project.
